In Memoriam

Our Parish celebrated this morning the passing of Mrs. Kathleen Reavey, 95, of North Providence, formerly of East Providence who died June 2, 2009 at Hebert Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Reavey. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Cary) Kelley. A 1934 graduate of the Rhode Island College School of Education, Kathleen was a schoolteacher for the Barrington School Department before retiring.She leaves four children, Col. Michael F. Reavey, USAF, Ret. of Florida, Francis J. Reavey of Smithfield, Patricia A. Koza and Susan K. Reavey, both of North Providence, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Helen Blanchard.
